Guzmania lingulata, also known as "Scarlet Star" is one of the most common house plants from the Bromeliad family.
The Latin word lingulata means "tongue-shaped". The foliage grows in a star-shaped basal rosette culminating in an orange and red bracted inflorescence. It is among the most commonly cultivated bromeliad types, with cultivars producing flowers in shades of maroon, red, orange, yellow or pink.
All of our plants come with a QR code to a care guide so you or the recipient of your gift will have at your fingertips what you need to know to keep the plants beautiful.
