DESCRIPTION
A beautiful and colourful combination from the much loved purple ('shamrocks') oxalis plant in our new Dolly Planter.
The Oxalis triangularis is the perfect plant to bring joy into a space. With its delicate leaves that are a stunning shade of purple, it also brings a sense of peace and tranquility with it.
Oxalis plants are highly ‘photophillic’; meaning its blooms and leaves will open and close in response to the light conditions. At night, its leaves are folded neatly together, forming a cluster of what looks like little butterflies.
The Oxalis is a relatively easy plant to care for, as long as there is bright light. Just be sure to consistently rotate the plant for even growth on all sides. Watering it once a week is sufficient, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out between waterings. Don’t worry about underwatering as your Oxalis will not hesitate to show you that it needs water with droopy leaves.
High humidity will keep your Oxalis happy. You can use a humidifier to boost humidity at home or mist it at least once a day. Placing it in a tray filled will pebbles and water will also do the trick.
Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
