DESCRIPTION
The Autograph Plant (also known as Pitch Apple Princess, botanical name Clusea Rosea) comes ready potted in this terracotta planter with a dotted rim design. It's a lush and easy care plant that makes a great housewarming gift!
Clusea Rosea has thick and leathery, paddle-shaped leaves that look lush and are also hardy. It is called autograph plant because you can “write” on their leaves by scratching them, and it’ll stay on there until the leaf falls.
It does very well in variable light conditions and is highly resistant to disease and insects. It doesn't take much in the way of care and, due to its density and height, pitch apple plant is often planted as a shade tree where it can create a nice canopy. It’s a perfect plant for a sunny balcony or rooftop garden. Because these semi-succulents are usually found near the sea, they are very salt-tolerant and wind-tolerant.
Grown outside, this fast-growing plant can reach heights of up to 6m. Indoors they can be kept as compact houseplants between 50-100cm.
Important to know: As plants are natural products, form, pattern and colour will vary.
